Zwickau, Hauptmarkt
Zwickau is the 4th largest city in Saxony after Leipzig, Dresden and Chemnitz with a constant population of 90,000 residents in recent years. Zwickau is the capital and largest center of the district of the same name and boasts the title of "Large district city". Its catchment area is over 400,000 inhabitants. In 1904 August Horch founded AUDI in Zwickau and since then Zwickau has been famous for its automotive industry. Today Volkswagen builds Golfs there (one of the world's best-selling cars of all time) and most of the Volkswagen Group's electric vehicles (VW, Audi, Skoda, Lamborghini, Bentley, SEAT, Bugatti and Porsche).
The "Hauptmarkt 24/25" building is located in the main square of the city and is a 4-storey building. On the ground floor there is the most famous brewery in the city, the Bavarian "Paulaner". On the upper floors are the central offices of the "Deutsche Rentenversicherung" (the German INPS).
